Friends & Family Home Care Services‘s home health aides (HHAs) are certified and trained under nurse supervision to provide customized “hands on” care to our beloved patients. A home health aide is certified to perform the everyday duties of a personal care aide, as well as the following tasks as needed by the patient:
- Health measurements (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Ambulation assistance
- Dressing assistance
- Feeding assistance
- Bathing
- Toileting
- Grooming
- Skin care
- Continence care
